Dan is in front of his tippler loft. The Dropper is tossed and the birds above are called down. The trap is the back door of the flight box which opens to let all of the birds walk into the wire way.

The birds above fly over the loft. However, they notice the dropper below and begin to anxiously pass over looking for the opportune time to drop.

Inside, the birds drop into their community flight box. They are first fed "linseed" or "flax" to give them the necessary oils for their feathers. The birds are yet young but their training continues.

Training begins by becoming familiar with their roof top. After dropping, Dan does not leave the birds to loiter long on the roof before trapping them in.
